Montage Switch Box

The switch box contains a 3-pole, 3-position rotary switch. Position 1 arranges the TI cables into montage A, Position 2 into montage B, and so on. This eliminates cable-switching errors and enables experimenter blinding — the switch box carries no markings indicating which position corresponds to which montage.
The system is entirely passive and electromechanical: no power is required, and there is no microcontroller or electronically controlled switching that could introduce noise into the experimental setup.
